Minijam Disclaimer

The game has been updated once since it was published on Minijam. You can find the update changelog on a devlog and the version of the jam submission below the description.

Sadly though, I had only built the older version to HTML, but it should still be able to run just fine on your browser. Just unzip the package and run "Index.html" to start playing.

Story

In a distant galaxy, you, a lone pink alien, find yourself in a deep crevasse teeming with adversaries. The crevasse contains a 9-room dungeon, with each room requiring a key to open. Gaining the keys isn't easy though; one is locked behind each of the rooms which are filled with computer robots, menacing butterflies, and spectral wraith demons. With each triumph, enhance your skills for the impending clash with the formidable alien fly, "Kuula." Will you overcome these challenges, vanquish your foes, and emerge back from the ground stronger than before?

Gameplay

The Dungeon consists of 9 rooms, each of varying difficulty. Each time the player progresses they must make a decision on which room to move to next. As the count of cleared rooms increases, so do the number of next possible door choices. The player must iteratively check which rooms are defeatable in order to prepare themselves against more difficult rooms, and the final, alienating and malevolent boss, "Kuula"

Don't worry if you can't find the correct path right away; the goal of this game is to provide a puzzling game with bullet-hell action

The average triumph time is 20 minutes without help. If you can get lower than that, be sure to post your time in the comments and see if anyone else can beat it!

Assets Disclaimer

Nearly all of the elements within this game, including but not limited to graphics, most of the sounds, and other assets, have been exclusively created by the developer(s). The 2 music tracks used were gotten from Pixabay. Some of the code was borrowed from previous projects, but it's safe to say at least 80% of the codebase is unique and made specifically for this title. No other external assets were used in the making of this game.
